It is with peace, joy and love for all that we introduce the 69th Intervarsity Choral Festival in Melbourne 2018 and take you back to the Summer of ‘69!
From across the country singers will flock to our fair city for the grooviest and wildest choral festival you ever did see. Over 10 amazing days we will rock this town as we make new friends, make memories and most of all, make music!
What is MIV 2018
The Melbourne Intervarsity Choral Festival (MIV) is an opportunity for amateur singers to be part of something amazing. Bunkered down at our campsite in Melbourne’s CBD we will spend 10 days rehearsing, having a heap of fun, rehearsing, meeting new people and making new friends, rehearsing, partying, rehearsing, attending totally wild social events, and a little more rehearsing before we finally perform in our concert spectacular at the Melbourne Town Hall. No auditions required, just a love of music and a great work ethic.
MIV 2018 will be hosted by the Monash University Choral Society (MonUCS), the La Trobe University Choral Society (LaTUCS) and the RMIT Occasional Choral Society (ROCS). But you don’t need to be a uni student to attend - we accept singers of all ages!
